Welcome to Futurebytes. By enrolling your child (ages 5–13) in any Futurebytes program—including camps, after-school classes, workshops, or events—you (“Parent/Guardian”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Enrollment & Eligibility

Futurebytes programs are designed for children ages 5–13.
All registrations are subject to availability and confirmation. Enrollment in any program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

2. Payment & Reservation Policy

Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
Enrollment secures a reserved seat, and resources—including instructors, materials, and space—are allocated accordingly.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 24-Hour Cancellation Window

A full refund will be issued only if:

  • Cancellation is requested within 24 hours of enrollment, and
the program start date is at least 14 days away from the registration date.
3.2 No Refunds After 24 Hours

A full refund will be issued only if:

After the 24-hour cancellation period, all payments are final and non-refundable, including camps, workshops, after-school programs, and birthday parties.

  • Cancellation is requested within 24 hours of enrollment, and
  • The program start date is at least 14 days away from the registration date

4. Transfers, Credits & Rescheduling

For registrations made through ActivityHero, cancellations must be completed through your account.

Prior to the program start date, Futurebytes may, at its sole discretion:

  • Allow transfers to another session
  • Provide rescheduling options
  • Issue future credits

Transfer requests for full-week camps must be submitted at least 7 days before the scheduled start date and are subject to availability.

All credits:

  • Are non-refundable
  • Are non-transferable
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Must be used within the validity period specified

5. Illness Policy

If a student is unable to attend due to illness and notice is provided before the program begins, Futurebytes may issue a 100% credit toward a future program. No refunds will be issued for illness-related cancellations.

6. No Changes After Program Start

Once a program has started, no refunds, credits, or transfers will be provided for any reason, including absence, scheduling conflicts, or dissatisfaction.

7. Program Changes & Cancellations by Futurebytes

Futurebytes reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, combine, or modify any program due to insufficient enrollment, staffing, facility constraints, or other operational reasons.

If a program is canceled by Futurebytes:

  • Alternative options may be offered
  • If no suitable alternative is accepted, a full refund will be issued

8. Attendance & Supervision

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up.
Futurebytes is not responsible for children outside scheduled program hours.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to follow instructions and maintain respectful behavior. Futurebytes reserves the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive or unsafe.

No refunds or credits will be issued in such cases.

10. Assumption of Risk

Futurebytes programs include hands-on STEM activities such as robotics, electronics, and computer-based learning. Participation involves inherent risks, including minor injuries or equipment-related incidents.

By enrolling, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

11. Waiver & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Futurebytes and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific program.

Futurebytes is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

12. Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, Futurebytes staff may take reasonable action to secure medical care for a participant.

By enrolling, the parent/guardian authorizes such action and agrees to assume responsibility for any associated medical costs.

13. Personal Property

Futurebytes is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to any program.

14. Photography & Media

By enrolling, you grant permission for Futurebytes to use photographs, videos, or images of participants and their work for educational, promotional, marketing, website, and social media purposes, unless written notice is provided otherwise.

15. Privacy

Futurebytes collects and uses personal information only for registration, communication, program delivery, and internal operations, in accordance with applicable laws.

16. Force Majeure

Futurebytes shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government actions, or facility closures.

In such cases, rescheduling or credits may be offered at the discretion of Futurebytes.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith efforts. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of California.

The parties waive the right to a jury trial or participation in a class action.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Futurebytes and the Parent/Guardian.

21. Changes to Terms

Futurebytes reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

23. Equipment Use & Damage Responsibility

Futurebytes provides access to specialized equipment, including but not limited to robotics kits, electronic components, laptops, tablets, and other STEM learning tools.

Participants are expected to use all equipment responsibly and follow instructor guidance at all times.

The Parent/Guardian acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Any damage caused by a participant due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions may result in repair or replacement costs
  • The Parent/Guardian shall be financially responsible for the cost of repair or replacement
  • Futurebytes reserves the right to determine whether damage exceeds normal wear and tear
  • Charges will be limited to the actual cost of repair or fair market replacement value

Normal wear and tear from regular use will not be charged.

However, intentional damage, repeated misuse, or careless handling will result in full financial responsibility.

By enrolling in a Futurebytes program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
